"In the comics, the stories that appealed to me most were the features called 'Tales of Asgard,' " CAA-repped Protosevich said. "They were very much based on the traditional Norse myths and how the relationship between being like Thor and Loki and Thor and Odin, and how these beings manifested themselves. I don't want to give too much away, but I will say the movie will take place in the world of myth and legend but will not betray some of the thematic elements of the comics that made them so appealing, like the idea of a god growing to truly understand man."

Ha!
The IESB got a chance to hear Avi Arad tell us that Thor is still under development. David Goyer is apprently still involved, all be it depending on when you ask Goyer he doesnt seem to know what his involvement is. Avi Arad is quotted as saying the following at Wizard World:
Development is that Goyer is still involved and it is still probably the biggest saga out there and it will take time to develop it and right now we are in the stage of writing more of a Lord of the Rings style of film in between Goyer directing but we are in aggressive development on Thor."
I never followed Thor so this isnt that big of news for me. David Goyer is talented though and I am sure he will bring alot to the movie.
