AW: Die Arkane Akademie

Conscience Transfer (Mind •••• to •••••, Spirit •)
The caster is able to transfer his whole soul into a creature within sensory range. This might either be a small mammal, like a cat or even a panther, or another human with higher knowledge of the Mind Arcanum.
Practice: Patterning
Action: Instant, resisted and contested
Duration: Lasting
Aspect: Covert
Cost: 1 permanent Willpower dot, 1 Mana
The Mage is able to transfer his whole soul into the conscience of a median create. This process is very exhausting and requires the caster to spend a dot (not a point, a whole dot) of Willpower. Furthermore the caster requires performing a derangement roll after successfully invoking the spell. If failed, the derangement might cause schizophrenia or multiple personalities (usually a hybrid of the Mage’s conscience as well as the creature’s) in the caster’s conscience.
If the creature has not been tamed or is generally not considered friendly towards the caster, the targeted host creature can resist with a Resolve check and it can always temporarily take over control over the body for the duration of a scene with a contested Resolve roll, requiring more successes than the caster. After expiration of the scene, the original conscience can opt to keep control by another contested roll. Whoever is “in charge”, the other conscience(s) are vaguely aware of the actions performed. If the host creature’s conscience performs a deed which is considered a sin against morality for the caster, this might call for a Wisdom degeneration roll in extreme cases since he is somewhat aware of the action and could have prevented it.
The caster can always go back his own body if it is within sensory range by casting this spell again (without the need to pay the Willpower dot, since he’s transferring into his own conscience).
While being in the body of the creature, the caster keeps his Skills but has to rely on the Attributes of the host. Furthermore, rote casting is far more difficult since the required gestures have been trained to be performed within one’s own body and they suffer a dice pool penalty of -2.
At Mind 5, the caster can also opt to target intelligent humanoid creatures. In this case, the target can resist with a Resolve + Supernatural Advantage (e.g. Gnosis) roll. The caster however is not able to transfer his mind into a lesser creature (e.g. insects).
As a role playing consideration you should always take into account that you are unused to the host’s body and the host’s conscience is still around even if it is oppressed. Even if the host tries to take over control again and fails, your conscience might get a temporary sudden notion or urge to think and behave like the host would want to do.
Adamantine Arrow rote: Mind Refugee
Dice Pool: Wits + Intimidation + Mind vs. Resolve + Supernatural Advantage
Strike forces of the Adamantine Arrow find this spell particularly useful as a last resort measure in futile combat situations. Instead of dying they can try to escape into a new body.
