[News] Extrablatt ! Extrablatt! ...

Die Fanfinanzierung für Elyrion, unser erstes deutsches Savage-Worlds-Setting, ist vorüber und hat mit 616% der benötigten Grundsumme ein fantastisches Ergebnis erreicht. Wenn wir ehrlich sind, hat niemand von uns mit einem derart hohen Ergebnis und so vielen Teilnehmern gerechnet. Uns ist bewusst, dass das nicht selbstverständlich ist und wir werden uns nach Kräften bemühen euer Vertrauen zu rechtfertigen. Vielen Dank euch allen!

Wir möchten uns auch bei unseren Kollegen bedanken, die uns bei der PR der Finanzierung unterstützt und damit ebenfalls einen großen Teil zur erfolgreichen Umsetzung der Aktion beigetragen haben. Auch auf die Gefahr hin jemanden zu vergessen: Dominik, Ingo, Moritz, Roger, ganz fettes Danke auch an euch!

Jetzt aber zu ein paar, hoffentlich, interessanten Fakten:

• An der Finanzierung haben insgesamt 86 Personen und 2 Händler teilgenommen. Das sind ca. 30 mehr als bei der Hellfrost-Finanzierung aber rund 50 weniger als bei der Finanzierung des Grundregelwerks. Die Zahlen sind vielleicht gar nicht so überraschend. Jeder braucht das Grundregelwerk aber Settings haben immer eine kleinere Zielgruppe.
• Die Fanpakete 3, 4 und 6 sind mit Abstand am häufigsten gewählt worden.
• Das Fanpaket 1 mit reinem eBook wurde kaum gewählt.
• Wenn ich mich nicht verzählt habe, haben lediglich 3 Personen auf die optionale Karte verzichtet.
• Durchschnittlich war den Teilnehmern die gedruckte Karte rund 7 Euro wert.

Soweit für heute. Ende der Woche geben wir die Gewinner der beiden Fanpakete bekannt und wie versprochen halten wir euch ab jetzt wöchentlich rund um die Entwicklung des Spiels auf dem Laufenden.

Die Zeit rennt und fliegt ja förmlich an uns vorbei und schwupps ist es wieder Zeit für ein Verlagsupdate. Eigentlich wäre es ja schon in der letzten Woche soweit gewesen aber dank Miniurlaub komme ich erst heute dazu. Dafür habe ich aber auch einige interessante News…

Hier geht es übrigens zum letzten Verlagsbericht. Ich will euch ja nicht mit Wiederholungen langweilen.



Hinter den Kulissen – Ein paar Einblicke in das Rollenspielverlagsgeschäft


Wer sich für die Arbeit hinter den Kulissen eines Rollenspielverlags interessiert, findet auf meinem privaten Blog eine hoffentlich interessante Artikelreihe. Es geht dabei zwar hauptsächlich um meine persönlichen Erfahrungen und Eindrücke aber ich versuche auch objektive Daten zu nennen.



Spielkinder Initiative


Ende der Woche sollen die ersten Texte aus dem Lektorat kommen und nächste Woche werden die ersten Bildbeschreibungen verschickt. Hier liegen wir gut im Zeitplan.



Gentleman’s Edition Revised – Hardcover


Die erste Karte hat uns erreicht und bis Ende des Monats wird uns auch der Rest erreichen. Ich rechne damit, dass der Band im Juli endlich auch in gedruckter Form vorliegt. Sobald das PDF fertig ist, geht es natürlich online.



Action- und Abenteuer-Deck/ Spielleiterschirm


Die neuen Illustrationen sind in Arbeit aber einen genauen Erscheinungstermin kann ich noch nicht nennen. Der Produktionsauftrag des Schirms ist raus aber dennoch hat uns das Teil noch nicht erreicht. Außer Ausreden habe ich noch nicht viel bekommen aber sobald ich mehr weiß, informiere ich euch natürlich.



Hellfrost Kreaturenband


Das Druck-PDF ist endlich online und kann hier gekauft werden. Es werden noch ein paar Kleinigkeiten und Bilder ergänzt und Ende des Monats soll das Buch in Druck damit es passend zur Nordcon lieferbar ist.



Hellfrost: Piraten des Kristallstroms


Der Drucktermin hat sich ein wenig verzögert aber auch der Band wird zur Nordcon erscheinen.

Die nächsten Bände sind im Lektorat und wir liegen im Zeitplan.



Elyrion


Die Fanfinanzierung ist mit gewaltigen 616% über die Ziellinie geschossen und wir sind allen Fans mehr als dankbar für die rege Teilnahme. Hier habe ich einen kleinen Rückblick zur Aktion geschrieben. Morgen werden die Gewinner der beiden verlosten Fanpakete bekannt gegeben und kommende Woche gibt es neue Texte.



Nebula Arcana


In der Vergangenheit immer wieder angedeutet, konnten wir endlich das Geheimnis um das nächste deutsche Savage-Worlds-Setting lüften und die Website mit den ersten Texten zu unserem Urban-Fantasy-Setting Nebula Arcana online stellen. Anders als Elyrion ist Nebula Arcana eine komplette Neuentwicklung und von Beginn an für Savage Worlds entworfen worden. Harte, erwachsene Urban Fantasy ohne Gejammer aber auch ohne zweite Chancen. Günther Lietz, den meisten Savages vielleicht als Taysal bekannt, ist der Hauptentwickler des Settings und wer seine bisherigen Arbeiten kennt, weiß, dass Großes auf uns zukommt.



Los Muertos


Ist zur RPC erschienen und ist bislang ein voller Erfolg. Andre, Timo und Volker können zurecht stolz auf das geile Buch sein. Wer das Spiel noch nicht kennt, kann sich hier informieren oder es hier auch gerne direkt kaufen.



Wolsung


Unser Demotisch fand auf der RPC großen Anklang und es gab nach den Testrunden durchweg positives Feedback. Die neuen Regeltexte sind derzeit im Lektorat und ich hoffe, dass wir euch das fertige Buch spätestens im Juli präsentieren können. Wer sich vorab ein wenig informieren möchte, kann das auf der neuen Website tun.

Wir hatten ja angekündigt, dass das Kreaturenhandbuch einen Schwung neuer schwarz/weiß-Illus bekommen sollte. Der Plan hat sich geringfügig geändert … in Farbe.

Im Artworkbereich der Hellfrost-Website findet ihr drei der neuen, nur in der deutschen Fassung enthaltenen Illustrationen. Ich finde die Illus machen eine Menge her und treffen die Stimmung des Spiels auf den Punkt. Da die Illustrationen ein wenig länger als geplant gebraucht haben, geht das Buch erst Mitte kommender Woche in den Druck aber ich denke, das ist es auf jeden Fall wert.
