Misfit Studios, die aus dem Stall von Green Ronin kommen, gehören zu den neueren Lizenznehmern von Savage Worlds.
Sie werden u.A. ihr SpirosBlaak-Setting konvertieren, was ja prinzipiell keine dumme Idee ist.
Heute stolperte ich nun über das neueste SW-Produkt aus ihrem Stall, das selbst ich als frechen "Rip Off" empfinde.

This product is designed to expand upon the premise of a single Professional Edge representing a profession by creating a tree of Edges from that base profession, allowing for a more direct concept and development focus as the character progresses while still allowing for adaptability and wide variation by still accommodating unrelated Edges. These so-called "profession trees" represent a shared vision and likely direction of advancement in both career and purpose that may be shared by the sort of hero who would pursue the indicated occupation beyond the rudiments of the initial Professional Edge.
In this offering you’ll find the druid profession tree. Druids are priests of the divinity found in nature, meaning that rather than worshipping a deity they place their faith in the raw power of the untamed wilderness, from its smallest plants to its largest beasts to the very land itself. Feststellungen:
- Warum sollte ich 1.22 € für 2.5 Seiten (!!!) allgemeines Geblubber über einen Professional Edges ausgeben, den ich in mindestens einem Dutzend Geschmacksrichtungen in anderen Settings schon habe.
- Wenn mich meine alten Augen nicht täuschen, ist das "Wichtigste" in diesem Pamphlet eine Tabelle mit simplen Geländemodifikatoren.
- Ich bin ja gerade zu SW gewechselt, weil ich "Profession Trees" eben entfliehen wollte. :eeek:
- Wenn dieser Text sowieso in dieser oder ziemlich ähnlicher Form in Savage SpirosBlaak auftauchen wird, wozu sollte ich für ein "Schnuppermuster" Geld berappen???
